CENTRO AMBIENTAL DE MARBELLA (CAM - Marbella
Environmental Center) opened its doors in
2003. It is located some 1500 m from the center
of Marbella, with easy access for large tonnage
transport and has an area of approximately
20,000 m2. |

With a treatment capacity of over 1300 T/day,
the CAM is used to evaluate urban waste produced
as a consequence of construction, landscaping
and activities of services supplied in the
city. |

|
|
The installations have different treatment
lines depending on the type of waste and are
equpped with machinery, both mobile as well
as fixed, that allows great versatility for
management. In processes of cleaning and waste
selection evaluation, mechanical, pneumatic,
electrical and manual means are used until
optimum discrimination of the evaluated products
and subproducts is achieved. |
