In 2002, the Tradebe Group acquired ECOLOGIA
QUIMICA (EQ), company dedicated to recycling
solvents used by industry and located in the
Industrial Park of Gualba (Barcelona). |

EQ is authorized as a waste manager by the
Autonomous Community of Catalonia with management
certificate E-47.92, which allows them to
evaluate solvents and organic waste contaminated
with solvents since 1992. |

EQ has the experience and capacity to recover
halogened and non-halogened solvents. It offers
contract service and a wide variety of solvents
for their sale. It has 2400 m3 liquid storage
capacity in perfectly equipped tanks and a
1250 m2 building for storage of barrels and
containers. |

The installations occupy an area of 14,300
m2 with four distillation columns, an evaporator
and a desorption plant for the treatment and
recovery of solvents in paint sludge. Its
principal customers are chemical, pharmaceutical,
graphic arts and paint industries. |
