With the acquisition of LINERSA in September
2002, the Tradebe Group consolidated its presence
of over 25 years in the Basque Country as
strategic territory for development of its
business. |

Linersa is authorized for the expedition of
Marpol International Certificates which ratify
the quality and supply of services provided.
The authorization, within the Spanish state,
corresponds to number 002, being the first
company in the nation to be certified for
Marpol Activity (001 is of the D.G.M.M.),
within which it operates annexes I, IV and
V of the Marpol Convention 73/78. |

In other areas of activities, Linersa has
been developing its function as Manager of
Hazardous and Toxic Wastes in the Autonomous
Community of the Basque Country (management
certificate EU/2/011-93) and in the Community
of Cantabria (management certificate RAUC2/96),
focusing its activity mainly on the collection
of used oil from automotive shops and small
industries and actively working with the Environmental
Policy of the Basque Government and of the
Government of Cantabria. |

The company has been UNE-EN-ISO 9002:1994
certified since June 2000 and is currently
in the process of implementation of ISO 14001,
which it expects to have completed along with
the installations of the new management plant. |
