For over 20 years, Tradebe has been offering
on-site management of wastes in petroleum
refineries. Tradebe was pioneer in the introduction
of various technologies such as the use of
thermal desorption in refineries and the use
of robots for cleaning. Our wide experience
and technology make us leaders in services
to refineries in Spain. |

The services offer two different methods.
Temporary work using mobile plants and continuous
work using fixed treatment plants. The services
offered with mobile plants are:
- Basin cleaning: includes removal, centrifugation
and final management of basins that may be
cleaned in or out of service. For the first
case, Tradebe has remote controlled robots
that allow sludge extraction while the basins
are in use.
- Automated or manual cleaning of crude oil
tanks. Tradebe uses its own system developed
by the Group for automated cleaning of crude
oil tanks using solution and the use of robots
for manual tank cleaning.
- Measurement of sludge quantities present
in crude oil tanks (SPOT System). Sonar system
that permits quantification and localization
of sludge banks present in crude oil tanks. |

The services offered using fixed plants include:
- Total treatment plants for biological and
oily sludge using centrifugation and low and
high temperature thermal desorption.
- Operation and Maintenance services for sludge
plants.
- Management services for refinery waste.
- Plants for the reduction of content in solids
(catalyst fines, coke fines and others) in
heavyweight sections of the different units
of the refinery, FCC unit or coke unit using
high-speed mechanical centrifugation. |
| Currently
Tradebe operates two integrated sludge treatment
plants using thermal desorption in the Petronor
refinery in Vizcaya and in the Repsol Petróleo
refinery in Tarragona. In addition, a new
high-temperature thermal desorption plant
is in the construction phase in the Repsol
Petróleo refinery of Puertollano. |
