| The
Tradebe Foundation, an example of awareness
of environmental matters. |
|
The Tradebe Foundation was born with the vocation
of becoming an institution of reference in
the area of management, treatment and recycling
of industrial and urban wastes, as well as
in water cycle management and consulting and
supplying of total services specializing in
the environment. All of which decisively contributes
in this area to environmental awareness and
education of the society, in all of the areas
of activity in which the Tradebe Group is
present. |

With the mission of contributing to increasing
respect for the natural and urban surroundings,
the Foundation has set four objectives:

Conservation
and protection of the environment in
all aspects, especially in the management,
treatment and recycling of wastes and
the full water cycle. |

To promote
activities of investigation, development
and innovation that play a role in environmental
protection and improvement. |

To diffuse,
communicate and raise awareness, education
and environmental training. |

To collaborate in attaining sustainable
social and economic development.

| They
are, without a doubt, ambitious objectives
but coherent with the commitment acquired
to defend the environment and improve human
quality of life. To achieve them, we have
initiated different lines of work, which include
from the edition of publications and studies
related to the environment and to waste treatment,
in collaboration with universities, other
foundations, etc., to the organization of
"business and environment" seminars,
active participation in other environmental
events, grants to perform investigation projects
and agreements with public administrations,
public businesses or associations and with
management responsibilities in the environmental
field. |
| It
is also necessary to dedicate a section to
R+D management that has been carried out through
agreements with the academic world, with bodies
such as the chemical engineering unit of the
UAB, as well as with institutions specialized
in investigation. |
| In
short, the Tradebe Foundation hopes to join
the effort towards a cleaner world, where
preserving the environment, far from being
a problem, becomes an assumed responsibility
positively shared by all. |
